A Morbid Map of Toronto

This weekend is Halloween! And to celebrate, I've created a morbid map of Toronto, sharing a few of the stories that appear in The Toronto Book of the Dead: from vicious murders to a bloody rebellion, from a haunted lighthouse to the mysterious séances held on Euclid Avenue.

You can explore the map in it's full size by clicking here.

And you can learn more about all these stories — and many more morbid tales from the history of Toronto — in The Toronto Book of the Dead, which tells the story of our city from long before it was founded to today, all through stories of death and dying. It's available from all the usual places. In fact, it very well might be sitting on a shelf at your favourite local bookstore right now.
